# Annual Financial Accompaniment

Managing significant private capital is not an isolated event; it is an ongoing process of calibrating to market shifts, tax reforms, and family life milestones.

**CornerStone Annual Accompaniment** is our flagship fiduciary advisory service: a year of systematic work on the family's capital, with **up to 13 strategic sessions per year**. Not a one-off consultation and not the sale of a single product.

**Track record:** 11+ years of practice · 150+ families accompanied · $23M+ in client portfolios · 80+ financial solutions in active use.

## 1. Seven tasks closed over the year

3. A programme for building capital and passive income
4. Tax structure optimisation
5. A financial foundation and succession
6. Instrument selection from 80+ financial solutions
7. Protection for the whole family, not just one person

## 2. The five stages

### Stage 1. Audit and Personal Financial Plan (PFP)
Every family goes through it, regardless of capital size or investing experience.

Covers: current financial picture (income, spending, assets, liabilities); short- and long-term goals; risk profile; instruments and experience already in place; available resources and realistic timelines.

The risk profile is not a formality. A conservative profile against an aggressive portfolio produces emotional decisions at the first drawdown; a conservative portfolio against an aggressive profile leaves the capital's potential unused.

Output: the PFP, with goals, investment portfolio and insurance portfolio in one reviewable system.

### Stage 2. Capital protection
Work on risk rather than return.

Risks addressed: jurisdictional concentration; single-currency savings; third-party claims (business partners, divorce, creditors); succession risk (years in court, assets ending up where the family never intended); asset-class concentration (for example property in one city).

Instruments: distribution of capital across countries and currencies; offshore investment policies and trust structures; designated succession (not contestable in court); bank and brokerage accounts in several jurisdictions; residence permits, passports and company formation abroad.

### Stage 3. Building passive income
The investment system is built on an already-protected foundation, in three baskets matched to the family's risk profile:

- **conservative** (stability and predictable cash flow): bonds, fixed-coupon instruments, overseas real estate;
- **balanced** (growth with controlled risk): global dividend portfolios, private credit, private equity;
- **aggressive** (profit multiplier): growth equities, alternative asset classes, IPO/pre-IPO, crypto as part of a system rather than the whole strategy.

Instruments from 80+ solutions: global brokerage accounts (Interactive Brokers, Saxo Bank), Swiss and Liechtenstein private banks, offshore bonds, investment policies (Unit-Linked / ULIP), endowment-style savings policies, dividend strategies, private credit. In selected cases, AI-assisted management of part of the portfolio with human approval of operations.

### Stage 4. Tax optimisation and succession
Often the stage with the largest money impact. Covers: the family's tax residency and its alignment with where they actually live; ownership structure for assets across jurisdictions; legal reduction of the tax burden when relocating or operating across several countries; succession instruments so inheritance is not settled in court and is distributed as the owner intends.

### Stage 5. Autonomous maintenance and scaling
The system starts to hold itself up: the plan is revisited on a calendar, the portfolio is rebalanced, new goals slot into an existing structure.

## 3. Also included

- **Up to 13 sessions per year:** regular monthly or quarterly synchronisation with Aleksey Novitskiy, plus emergency consultations during market volatility, geopolitical disruption or major acquisitions and exits. A half-year format is also available.
- **Business psychologist Mila Lonshakova** participates when family financial goals and succession need to be aligned between spouses and generations.
- **Institutional compliance support:** Source of Wealth and Source of Funds dossiers for strict AML/KYC, prevention of cross-border transfer blocks, review of tax consequences before a transaction.
- **Independent second opinion:** rigorous due diligence on third-party investment pitches, private equity proposals and local private banking offerings, to surface hidden costs and conflicts of interest.

---

## 4. Link to the Five Flags of Freedom

For families living across borders (expats, relocators, digital nomads) the work does not sit inside one jurisdiction. It runs across five directions at once: **passport, residency, business structure, finances, place of living**. Each element is selected separately and works as a system.

## 5. Client qualifications

**A fit:** the family already holds capital (their own or from a business) and needs to preserve it, structure it across countries, generate passive income, or prepare succession. Core practice: liquid investable capital from **$1,000,000**, or annual net surplus exceeding $150,000 in the accumulation phase. Lighter formats exist for families still building free capital.

**Not a fit:** looking for a way to get rich quickly; wanting one specific product with no review of the situation; another priority is urgent right now (health, family).
